Ibiza ~ Day 2

Day 2 was spent at Nikki Beach. White sand, plush sun loungers, sun-kissed tunes with a live sax player... it was another totally relaxing day for us.

We reserved the "Ladies First" day which is held every Tuesday. For €59 you get 5 glass of champagne or 5 mojitos and some light bites including sushi per person.

That evening we went from chilled mode to party mode and headed to Ushuaia to see David Guetta perform. Tickets were €70 and we bought these on the day. You can buy these tickets at kiosks on the street. Such an experience and he has residency there weekly every year. Definitely check out which DJ's are playing, it is such an experience.

Being a tourist in Killarney for a day

Last weekend I celebrated my birthday. And what better way to spend it...  in the sunshine, with friends, doing the tourist things in Killarney!

Lagos - Portugal

Portugal is always a favourite for me. Quick flight, the best beaches, great weather and fabulous food. I took a short break to Lagos with a few friends in May.

The Cliff House Hotel

Sometimes we need a break away. A quiet, calm location by the sea to recharge the batteries. The Cliff House Hotel did just that for me during the Christmas season.

Santorini Memories

Oia

When in Santorini, a trip to Oia is a must. The most photogenic town, sitting on a cliff and known throughout the world for it's famous sunset.

We hired a car during the honeymoon, just to find those places we missed on the first time around. Andromahi at Homeric Poems (read about our hotel HERE) helped us find all those spots.

First on our list was the wine tour and tasting at Santo Wines.

Marbella

I had a few days off recently and decided to take a break to the sun. Marbella, Spain, was top of the list for this. 

Just over two hours on the plane, the sunshine awaits you.

A delightful afternoon at Castlemartyr Resort

During the Easter season I was due a catch-up with Helena and we headed off to Castlemartyr Resort for Afternoon Tea.

The sun's rays were streaming down as we made our way along the driveway to the Resort, passing the Castle ruins and watching golfers tee-off. Pity we don't play ourselves - I imagine this is the perfect place for a round of golf - such quiteness in a surreal setting of woodlands - just bliss.

When walking towards the Manor House it almost takes your breath away. Origionally, construction took place in the 17th century and today the Manor House is restored to its original grandeur and it is so magnificent.

ESPA at The Europe Hotel, Killarney

I am so lucky to have so many gorgeous hotels & spa's on my doorstep in Kerry. Yesterday I took a trip to the magnificent Europe Hotel & Resort with my Sister. And what a day it was!
